Specifications include, but are not limited to:The successful Proposer will provide the following Third Party Administrator Services to the GlynnCounty Board of Commissioners (County):Coverage Requirements: Self-Insured Retention of $500,000 per occurrence for injury to firefighters (paid andvolunteer), emergency medical personnel (EMT and paramedic), and police officers, and allother employees. Large deductible plan to retain a portion of WC risk in exchange for reduced premiums Coverage of Volunteer Firefighter, Volunteer Law Enforcement Personnel who are POSTcertified, Volunteers Members of emergency management or civil defense organizations,emergency medical service, or rescue organization, volunteer First Responder and Electedcounty officers and elected members of the governing authority Limit of indemnity for each accident or for each employee for occupational diseaseRequirements: Special reports provided promptly as needed (ex. Identifying Repeater Claimants, Top TenCauses of Loss) Dividend eligibility preferred Continue to work with Safety National for Excess Insurance Annual Payroll reporting period Access to electronic billing Actuarial report at the end of physical year Successful bidder will pay the assessment of the Workers Compensation Board on behalf ofthe County. Assist in determining the compensability of claims Coordinate rehabilitation services, medical appointments, and investigative services Process applicable Subsequent Injury Trust Fund recoveries The carrier must incur the cost for all manual or electronic data conversion if an alternativeTPA is used by carrier. Offer training on key Worker Compensation issues and legislative policy changes Medical bill review of $1.00 per line Access to an on-line system for reporting new claims; access to current claims; updatingcurrent claims; and the ability to request or print Certificates of Insurance by the CountyHuman Resource staff. Must provide a field representative to assist with conducting annual site inspections/losscontrol reviews to eliminate potential workers compensation claims. Annually review class codes to ensure that workers are classified correctly. Provide services and resources to assist with County with promoting workplace safety andemployee wellness and thereby reducing frequency and severity of workers compensationclaims over time.
