Specifications include, but are not limited to:LYNX provides public transportation services for Orange, Seminole, and Osceola Counties with 77 Fixed-Routes including Local Fixed-Routes, Express/Limited Routes, Bus Rapid Transit Lines (LYMMO) to provide more than 90,000 passenger trips each weekday, spanning an area of over 675 square miles. The entire LYNX service area has over 1.9 million people and covers over 2,538 square miles including Orange, Osceola and Seminole Counties and small portions of Lake and Polk County. In addition to Fixed Route Services, LYNX provides Paratransit Service (ACCESS LYNX), Regional Vanpool Service and 13 Feeder/Demand-Response Connectors (NeighborLinks). LYNX Fixed Routes and NeighborLinks connect to the SunRail, at eleven (11) station locations, from the Sand Lake Road Station north to the Sanford Station. LYNX currently operates 241 buses for its fixed-route services and approximately 13 cutaway vans for NeighborLinks. Approximately 30 percent of the fixed route bus fleet is equipped with Automatic Passenger Counters (APCs) and NeighborLink trip origins and destinations are tracked through reservations. SunRail began service May 1, 2014. SunRail Phase 1 includes service to twelve stations along a 32-mile alignment. SunRail operates Monday Friday from 5 AM to 10:30 PM, with Trains operating every 30-minutes during peak times and every two hours during off-peak times. SunRail operates approximately five (5) Trains during peak times, each with two to three cars. In 2015, total ridership above 922,000 trips and a daily average of more than 3,600 passenger trips. The latest SunRail information can be found at http://sunrail.com/. II. PURPOSE The primary project objectives include: 1. Obtain a population proportionate sample and an accurate representation of LYNX total rider population for fixed route bus services. 2. Obtain a current and separate rider profile for NeighborLink (optional Task 7) services and SunRail services (optional Task 8). 3. Generate reliable linked origin-destination data to support long-range and short-range planning activities including improved transit services and support for the regional travel demand model. 4. Compile statistically accurate information about transit customers use of the different transit services. 5. Understand differences in survey responses across travel markets, including identification of responses with respect to time of travel (e.g., peak-period, non-peak-period and weekend) 6. Assist LYNX in meeting Title VI Civil Rights requirements and enhance LYNXs Title VI Program. 7. Assess rider satisfaction with LYNX and specific service characteristics (i.e., headways, span of service, etc...
