Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Provide a comprehensive face-to-face assessment and clinic evaluation to determine what level of assistance is needed to resolve problems of employees referred by TriMet as consequence of work performance and/or substance abuse test results. Assessments of employees in Federal Transit Administration (FTA) defined safety sensitive positions shall be conducted in strict compliance with FTA and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and requirements. 2. Provide an initial determination of degree of substance abuse, using test result information and assessment instruments. Refer the employee to an appropriate course of treatment and/or a substance abuse education program
