Specifications include, but are not limited to:PROPOSED ROLE OF VENDOR: Develop and publish the guide, including printing, graphics, layout, typesetting, staffing, preparation costs and occasional author and photographer honoraria (content and photographs may be provided by PARKS or its contacts at no cost to the VENDOR).Work with PARKS to decide on content (including categories, articles, advertising, information etc.) to be included in the guide subject to final approval of PARKS to ensure consistency with the PARKS' brand, mission and values. Provide PARKS with 2,500 copies of published guide. Distribute remaining guides to parks across Washington, visitor/convention bureaus and tourism offices. Identify additional distribution channels for the guide. Aggressively market the guide with the purpose of obtaining advertising revenue. Prepare a revenue proposal whereby PARKS is adequately compensated for the exposure provided through the distribution outlets, including minimum guarantees and advertising revenue commission. Dedicate as many pages as necessary for PARKS information, content and features. Guide development/publication cost to be covered by advertising revenue collected by VENDOR.
