Proposals that do not follow the sequence, outline, and response format of this RFP, may be deemed non responsive and disqualified from further consideration.ScopeThe scope of service is to provide womans gender-responsive treatment for pregnant and parenting women who are Medicaid eligible and at risk of a poor birth outcome due to substance use. The required scope of work includes both clinical/programmatic activities and fiscal/administrative activities.Goals/ObjectivesTo ensure that Medicaid-eligible pregnant and parenting women have access to gender-responsive substance use disorder treatment, to maximize the chance of a healthy birth outcome at the conclusion of the pregnancy and to provide needed post-partum treatment services in order to maintain gains made in treatment during the pregnancy.Treatment ServicesLicense requirementsApplicants must have an OBH license for SUD treatment specific to women and for residential and outpatient modalities. Practitioners and counselors must have CAC II, CAC III or LAC certification and training/experience in providing gender-responsive services to women who are pregnant and parenting.Level of program/careASAM Level lll.5, Clinically Managed High Intensity Residential TreatmentASAM Level III.7 Medically Managed High Intensity Residential TreatmentASAM Level I Outpatient TreatmentAnd ASAM Level ll.1 Intensive Outpatient TreatmentThese levels of care may be combined with Opioid Medication Assisted Treatment that is reimbursed outside of the Special Connections program.A brief description of the service that will be providedIndividual safety takes precedence over all other considerations in treatment.Families are treated as a unit, with significant others included in treatment wherever possible.Special Connections providers deliver the following services reimbursed by Medicaid:
