Hernando County Board of County Commissioners, Supervisor ofElections, Clerk of Circuit Court, Property Appaiser, TaxCollector, and Fifth Judicial Circuit has staffing needs thatare beginning to strain the facilities housing those positions.We are interested to know the current and future capacity of ourfacilities with the intent to understand how we can best use theexisting space for the current and near future needs, togetherwith verification of the results and possible designrecommendations provided by the Countys Space Needs Committee.Also, and concurrent with the Space Utilization Study mentionedabove, Hernando County is contemplating the current and futureneeds at the West Side Government Center, currently housingportions of the Tax Collector, Property Appraiser and Supervisorof Elections. This portion of the study will look at the currentstaffing, work practices and work volumes, and compare that withother municipal constitutional offices to determine the needs ofa possible new location/building. The results of this portion ofthe study will include a requirements document toward a futuredesign contract for a new location/building.No additional specifications were given.
