Specifications

Specifications include, but are not limited to:Scope of Work.1 Remove all existing fence fabric and install finish 6 gauge black fused bondedvinyl coated galvanized chain link fencing..2 Fencing shall be attached with page ties and fastened to framing.3 Fencing shall be installed with bottom rails.4 Fencing and gates shall be held 1-1/2 above finished field.6 Top rail shall be at the top of the chain link fence..7 All gates shall be checked for proper clearance when in the open position.8 All poles, rails, rail ends, offset bands and tensions bars that will be reused shallbe cleaned of all old paint and repainted per paint detail provided9 All new rails, poles and gates shall have a black poly coated finish.10 All new poles shall be installed in concrete with a finished height of no less than5 below grade and topsoil added along with grass see or dirt depending on thelocation.11 All new gate hardware should match existing.1 These may be removed and repainted if desired8.2 Softball Field 2 Fence Replacement Drawing Notes A, B, and C..1 Note Aa. Remove and dispose of approximately 240 existing fencing on each sideas noted on Sketch to include all posts and concrete footings.b. Unused holes from removed poles shall be filled with dirt, compactedand seeded..1 Dirt is available on site Contractor shall haul and placec. Install new 1-1/2 poles at a maximum distance of 10 apart, depth of 3and height above finish grade of 4.d. All new fencing shall include bottom railse. All new fencing and rails shall be more than 1-1/2 above finish gradef. All posts should have holes dug at a diameter of 10 and filled withconcrete up to 5 below finished gradeg. All new poles and rails should be coated with a black poly based coatingh. Remove all gates and hardware, install new gates and heavy dutyhardware with the same coating.i. All new gates shall match existing opening dimensionsj. All fencing shall be attached with Page Ties and secured tightly.k. Touch up all poles and rails that were scraped during installation..2 Note Ba. Remove all fence fabric and railsb. Straighten 6 poles marked with orange paint at the bottom and secure bydigging footer and adding more concretec. Install sleeves over remaining polesd. Install new rails, including bottome. New poles and rails shall be black poly based coatedf. Install approximately 480 of new fence fabric, same height as existingand secure with Page Tiesg. Install new 4 diameter 20 yellow foul poles with caps at left and rightfield.1 Foul pole coating shall be same as other fence poles.2 Holes shall be 6 in depth and 18 diameter, filled with concreteup to 5 from finished grade and topsoil added above thath.
