Specifications

Specifications include, but are not limited to: Contractor shall provide the services of snow removal from roadways in Maintenance Districts and Service areas as listed and described In Exhibit "A" attached hereto. Procedures for snow removal shall be in compliance with Cal Trans "Maintenance Manual, Volume 'I July 2006", Chapter R Snow/Ice Control, Page R-6, Paragraph R.02., Section (C), Snow Road Classification "C" with exclusion of performing the items as outlined in sentences 3 and 4, Patrols will be established for those areas where conditions require surveillance of the roadway for possible snow, ice or avalanche hazards., as these functions will be performed by Madera County Public Works Staff.
