Specifications include, but are not limited to:1) Desktop and Cloud Based Application Support - Provide basic support functions, includingthe installation and/or redeployment of desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, peripherals,and office software; troubleshooting, diagnosis and resolution of desktop and cloud applicationsproblems, configuring of desktops, laptops, mobile devices and other types of equipment forstandard application; identification and correction of user hardware problems, with advancedtroubleshooting as needed; maintenance of an updated inventory of all related computerhardware and providing general help desk support services.2) Local Server Administration and Support Manage computer system and networks to includecomplex application, database, messaging, web and other servers and associated hardware,software, communications, operating systems necessary for the quality, security, performance,availability, recoverability, and reliability of the system. Ensure scheduled preventivemaintenance for equipment is properly and promptly performed; maintain the maintenancerecords on the equipment; develop operations, administrative, and quality assurance back-upplans and procedural documentation. Setup new users and edit or remove existing users onserver. Server performance and capacity management services with reporting when specifiedthresholds are reached. Configuration management, including changes, upgrades, and patches.Support of specialized software as it relates to the server(s) and associated hardware.Management of user logins and security. Coordinate repair and maintenance work contractedrepair vendors and ensure repairs are conducted in a timely fashion.3) Network Connected Equipment Support Primary installation and maintenance of printers,networks copiers/scanners, etc. Primary maintenance including regular analysis, routineconfiguration changes, and installation upgrades. Alert notifications to designated Districtpersonnel in the event of failure.
