Specifications include, but are not limited to:Be responsible for recruiting, training, matching and supervising 25 peer volunteers, with focus onthe Recovery Model. Contractors are expected to have flexibility and travel to different areasthroughout the County to recruit, train, match and supervise peer volunteers.2.2 Enroll individuals known as peers and match them with a peer volunteer annually. A minimum of60 peers must be enrolled annually in home visitation. Peers will receive a total of 1,200 homevisits from their peer volunteer in the home, the community or over the phone. Peer volunteers willalso promote linkage to Wellness and Recovery Centers as appropriate.2.3 Set up a matching process between the peer, volunteer, and if applicable, the referring agency.2.4 Develop a training manual and provide face-to-face training with peer volunteers. Directsupervision will be given weekly for volunteers who see peers weekly and provide services that aremore complex, such as supportive counseling and monitoring of early warning signs of illness.Monthly direct supervision and weekly telephone supervision will be provided for peer volunteers.2.5 Develop a system to obtain referrals for Peer Partnerships and a protocol to define who is anappropriate referral. The protocol should also contain information describing how the Contractordetermines whether the participant is in need of additional mental health services (e.g. outpatientmental health treatment) if not currently receiving services.2.6 Provide a minimum of 70 annual outreach and education presentations regarding stigma, mentalillness, and prevention. The Contractor will make arrangements with Senior Housing sites, SeniorCenters, and other locations and advertise these presentations. At least 1,460 people will attendthe outreach education activities.2.7 Prepare quarterly reports on partnerships and presentations. The report will include statistical data,including the number of volunteers, trainings, volunteer visits, and supervision sessions. Inaddition, information regarding dates of educational presentations, topic of programs, location, andnumber of attendees must be included
