Specifications include, but are not limited to:The vendor will provide all services and materials related to the performance of Security Patrol Services to include: 1.Patrol facilities via foot patrols and/or vehicle patrols during each shift tour. 2.Check doors to offices and structures periodically to ensure they are secured and locked during periods of non-operation of the facilities. 3.Physically check all gates granting access to the campus periodically during each shift tour. This shall include those facilities housing farm live-stock and farm-equipment. 4.Maintain a log of all shift activities to include documentation of all security checks for doors, gates, and checks for possible breech of fencing. 5.Monitor all grounds adjacent to university property for unauthorized or suspicious activities. 6.In the event of the discovery of criminal activity or any incident that is a blatant violation of university code of conduct, a written report will be made of the incident. 7. In the event that an incident is criminal in nature, the contractor will summon the UPD to the scene to investigate the incident for possible arrests and criminal prosecution. The contractor will contact the Harris County Sherriff or Constables office for incidents occurring at any of PVAMUs Houston campuses.
