Specifications include, but are not limited to:Metro General Services is responsible for security infrastructure in over 80 buildings and even more locations (like radio towers). Metro ITS has infrastructure in over 250 buildings. Metro is responsible for the managing security in over 80 buildings and even more locations (like radio towers). The primary functions of the buildings are governed by the diverse assortment of Metro duties and services as well as the broad range of citizens receiving services. The buildings include those used for electricity generation, the district energy system, transit, libraries, human resources, fiscal management, general administration, information technology and public safety support infrastructure, police and fire halls, justice centers, detention centers, and other local government duties.These buildings are equipped with various security systems such as electronic access control, video surveillance, intrusion alarm systems, and call for assistance systems. Some of these systems are monitored by external companies while others are monitored by Metro employees.1. General Requirements1.1. The Contractor will be responsible for securing and maintaining all necessary certifications, licenses, permits, and authorizations (and for the costs thereof) required to perform required services. 1.2. The Contractor will be responsible for the supervision, coordination, materials, equipment, and supplies necessary to complete services described herein. 1.3. The Contractor will devote adequate personnel, in terms of number, expertise, and credentials, to perform all aspects of required service. 1.4. Services will be performed in compliance with industry standards and all federal, state, and local laws, ordinances, and regulations (including TOSHA and OSHA rules and regulations). 1.5. Contractor personnel, who will perform service at Metro facilities pursuant to the contract, must have, within the past thirty-six (36) months, successfully completed a security background screening performed by the Metro Nashville Police Department. The cost of said security background checks will be Contractor's responsibility, and the Contractor must provide Metro with documentation of compliance with this requirement in each instance and before assigning personnel to routine duty under this contract
