Specifications

Specifications include, but are not limited to:Transmissions Facility would like 3 roll off bins, one for scrap steel, one for copper, and one for aluminum delivered to 635 OK-69A Pryor, OK 74361. Scrap steel bin will be emptied once a month unless it is full then GRDA will call and it needs to be picked up within 24 hours; copper and aluminum will be on an on call basis and will need to be picked up within 24 hours. C.3.2. Grand River Energy Center (GREC) would like (unless additional bins are requested during outages or projects) 1 roll off bin for scrap steel and 2 hoppers for copper and aluminum delivered to 8142 OK-412B Chouteau, OK 74337. Scrap steel bin will be emptied once a month unless it is full then GRDA will call and it needs to be picked up within 24 hours; copper and aluminum will be on an on call basis and will need to be picked up within 24 hours. At the present GREC has only one bin with all metal going into this bin. C.3.3. Energy Control Center (ECC) would like 1 roll off bin for scrap metal located at 4225 E 545 Road Locust Grove, OK 74352. Scrap bin will be emptied on an as needed basis and will need to be picked up within 24 hours. C.3.4. Salina Pump Storage Project (Pump Back) would like 1 roll off bin for scrap metal located at 620 South 4437 Road Salina, OK 74365. Scrap bin will be emptied on an as needed basis and will need to be picked up within 24 hours. C.3.5. Note: All locations, if they are doing some type of construction, might need extra bins on an on call basis and have the container delivered within 24 hours. Any of the locations may have scrap larger than what can fit into the roll-off bins and will require a semi-truck flatbed service at no extra cost to the Authority. C.3.6. The date of the pickups will be arranged by mutual agreement with the selected contractor and GRDA. C.3.7. Roll off containers picked up at GREC will need to be weighed using the scales at GREC. Roll off containers picked up at the Transmission Headquarters, Energy Control Center, and Salina Pumped Storage Project will need to be weighed using the scales at Transmissions. Driver will need to weigh in before pickup of the full scrap bin and after pick up of the full scrap bin. C.3.8. Reporting requirements, each quarter the selected vendor will submit the tonnage for each type of metal picked up and tonnage from each location to State Surplus and also GRDA and a total for the year submitted prior to July 31st. C.3.9. Each plant opens at 7:00 A.M. and closes at 3:30 P.M. GRDA will need the name of the awarded company for entrance into their facility. Each bin needs to be weighed on the scales at GREC and a report of the weight submitted to State Surplus & also GRDA on a quarterly basis with a report submitted annually on a fiscal basis
