Specifications include, but are not limited to:Round Valley Reservoir is located in the foothills of Hunterdon County, New Jersey, approximately one mile south of the Borough of Lebanon. Round Valley Reservoir is a natural bowl-shaped valley, closed off by three earth embankments, with 55 billion gallons of storage. All three (3) Class I high hazard dams are designated to be rehabilitated as part of this project. Round Valley was constructed by the State of New Jersey in the early 1960's, and is now operated by the New Jersey Water Supply Authority (NJWSA), together with Spruce Run Reservoir and the Delaware and Raritan Canal to provide a safe yield of raw water for more than 1,500,000 residents of central New Jersey. Recreational facilities, administered by the State of New Jersey, have been established at the Round Valley Reservoir as well
