Specifications include, but are not limited to:ollowing is a description of the program requirements that will be funded through available Grant funds to be awarded as a result of this Request For Grant Proposal.Highest StandardsPursuant to ORS 279B.060(2)(c), DHS requires Proposer to meet the highest standards prevalent in the industry or business most closely involved in providing the appropriate goods or services.Grant Proposals Request DHS is requesting specific program descriptions in Grant Proposals from qualified Proposers for the work in currently operational shelter programs specifically for run away and homeless Youth.Request for Grant Proposals Scope of Work shall include the following Proposal Program requirements.General Goals and Objectives for the RHY ProgramGrant Proposals received by DHS as a result of this RFGP will support the following the Child Welfare Program goals and objectives. Proposer must respond in its Proposal to the following Goals and Objectives:Strengthen current Youth programs in Oregon by providing additional shelter resources specific to Youth who are homeless and Youth who are runaway and assist them in meeting basic needs;Make efforts to decrease risk factors associated with runaway and homeless Youth by providing educational opportunities to such Youth, including education on available mediation and mental health services; andIncrease awareness of runaway and homeless Youth issues to decrease the stigma and increase community engagement with the runaway and homeless Youth populations.RHY Collaboration with current service providersThe Proposer shall describe in its Proposal how it currently collaborates with providers of services to run away and homeless in Oregon, or describe the plan to work with such programs in the future.
