Specifications include, but are not limited to:The University of Northern Iowa is seeking quotations for repairing the chillers in Russell Hall made up of the following specifications or equivalent (see section 2.15). ANY exception to any specifications must be noted on Attachment A or bid will not be considered. 3.1 Russell Hall Chiller (Room 036) 3.1.1 Specifications of Unit Carrier absorption chiller (125 ton) Model #16JB010-604 Serial #12-92313 3.1.2 Requested Work Re-tube concentrator (generator) absorber, condenser & evaporator to following specifications. Rebuilding solution pump and refrigerant pump including all gaskets and miscellaneous materials. Owner has recovered solutions. Replace all diaphragms in hand valves on chiller. Install two new isolation valves to chiller on evaporator chilled water lines (supply and return). Evacuate and leak test machine with approved methods. Start-up, evaluate and provide written report on condition of machine. 3.1.3 Tube specifications Generators tubes to be 0.049 wall - 90/10 Cu/Ni - smooth - "U" bend Condenser tubes - quantity (49) to be 0.028 wall, 90/10 Cu-Ni - 15' long - smooth Evaporator tubes - quantity (89) to be 3/4" O.D., 0.028 wall - finned copper. Absorber tubes - quantity (82) to be -.028 wall, 90/10 Cu/Ni - 15' long smooth
