Specifications include, but are not limited to:Two new chassis and body bus fourteen passengers plus six wheelchairs cutaway bus for the CDHS Grand Junction and Pueblo Regional Center. All applicable specifications must meet requirements established by the American with Disabilities Act (ADA) for Para Transit vehicles identified by Federal Register Vol. 56. No 173. This bus must also meet Structural Durability Test (STURAA) requirements for 7 year/200,000 miles.Due to Manufacturer unit availability and flexibility of design etc., these specifications are to be considered a minimum. Deviations, above the minimum specifications will be considered. However the State will not consider for award a vehicle with above minimum requirements if there is a bid submitted for a bus that meets the minimum requirements at a lower cost.
