Specifications

Specifications include, but are not limited to:Specifications for two RHEED systems including two double differentially pumpedelectron guns, UHV components and pumps, phosphor screens, cameras, andanalysis software2. The system shall include two electron guns capable of producing a focused beam ofelectrons with a spot size of <500um with an energy of at least 35keV.3. One electron gun must be operational in oxidizing environments at pressures greaterthan 100mtorr. The electron gun must include magnetic shielding, a magneticallyshielded gate valve, two sets of deflection electromagnets for fine control of thebeam trajectory in x and y direction, focusing capabilities, and all vacuumcomponents including pumps and gauges. Additionally the electron gun must becompatible with NEK350RS3-C10 and NEXRD3-TC10 power supply and deflectionunits respectively from STAIB instruments and have a 4.5 CF mounting flange. Theflange to exit aperture length for the electron beam must be 15-20 long. All cablesmust be provided as well with a minimum length of 10m.4. The other electron gun must be operational in reactive environments such as TTIP(titanium isopropoxide) in pressures greater than 10 mTorr. The electron gun mustinclude magnetic shielding, a magnetically shielded gate valve, two sets of deflectionelectromagnets for fine control of the beam trajectory in x and y direction, focusingcapabilities, and all vacuum components including at least one pumping system andgauge. Additionally the electron gun must be compatible with NEK350RS3-C10 andNEXRD3-TC10 power supply and deflection units respectively from STAIBinstruments and have a 4.5 CF mounting flange. All cables must be provided aswell with a minimum length of 10m.5. The system also requires one set of appropriate power supplies and electroniccontrol units for the operation of an electron gun in the range of 20keV up to 35keV.6. A 70mm diameter fluorescent screen must be provided with the screen mounted ona 6-8 CF flange, on a holder that extends 8-11 from the face of the flange into thechamber. The screen must also include a shutter assembly to prevent depositiononto the phosphor screen. Additionally, the flange must have a viewport for viewingof the screen by eye and a camera.7. A 55 mm diameter fluorescent screen must be provided with the screen mounted ona 6 CF flange, on a holder that extends 8-11 from the face of the flange into thechamber. The screen must also include a shutter assembly to prevent depositiononto the phosphor screen. Additionally, the flange must have a viewport for viewingof the screen by eye and a camera.8. The system must also include a 14 bit high sensitivity camera with cables andRHEED data acquisition software for monitoring and analyzing diffraction patterns,including but not limited to diffraction spot intensity and spacing analysis.Additionally, a camera mount for the vacuum flange must be included as well as acomputer for the analysis software.9. The system must also include a 12 bit camera with cables for monitoring andanalyzing diffraction patte
