Specifications include, but are not limited to:Medical Surveillance ServicesThe Contractor will perform Medical Surveillance Services in accordance with 29 CFR 1910.120, 29 CFR 1910.134, and 29 CFR 1910.1001, and other standards, as identified by the MPCA, and promulgated by the U.S. Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA), or the Minnesota OSHA Division of the Minnesota Department of Labor and IndustryBaseline and Exit ExaminationsThis task shall include:Obtaining, reviewing, and evaluating medical and occupational histories of each participant in the MPCA Medical Surveillance Program. Employee medical histories shall be collected on a form which has been reviewed and approved by the MPCAs Authorized Representative;Baseline and exit examinations, to be performed by or under the supervision of a licensed physician, and the scope of which will be in-accordance with applicable regulatory standards identified in Paragraph 1;Follow-up examinations, at the discretion of the examining physician, when an employee is exhibiting known or suspected adverse medical conditions potentially associated with occupational exposures. The contractor shall notify the MPCAs Authorized Representative anytime follow-up examinations are required.Periodic ExaminationsThis task shall include:Obtaining, reviewing, and evaluating medical and occupational histories, and occupational exposure logs of each participant in the MPCA Medical Surveillance Program. All histories shall be collected on a form which has been reviewed and approved by the MPCAs Authorized Representative;Periodic examinations, conducted at a frequency applicable to the respective employee, to be performed by or under the supervision of a licensed physician, and the scope of which will be in-accordance with applicable regulatory standards identified in Paragraph 1;Follow-up examinations, at the discretion of the examining physician, when an employee is exhibiting known or suspected adverse medical conditions potentially associated with occupational exposures.
