Specifications include, but are not limited to:Material Specifications and Design The shoring system must be able to be buried 12 feet deep in Class C soil. The material of the panels must be either aluminum or another light weight material that will be light enough for a single person to handle, yet the panels must meet OSHA requirements. Each panel shall be certified for use as either a shield or a shore in a vertical installation position. Protective panels shall be framed by a tubular outer frame section. Each tubular frame section shall be ready from the factory for stacking sections. Each panel shall be capable of universal installation without left-right or top-bottom installations. Each protective panel shall have an average weight of no more than 3.5 pounds per square foot of the protective panel area. Each panel shall be equipped with a minimum of two hand holds (preferably three). Protective panels shall be capable of supporting protective panel design loads for a span of 12 feet. The method of attaching the spreaders shall be prohibited from being subjected to compressive load stress at the point of connection. Spreaders shall be prohibited from achieving support from sustained hydraulic or pneumatic pressure. Shoring system shall be capable of attaching OSHA rated end closures. Quantity, Weight, Size of Panels and Spreader Bars plus Accessories Quantity of two (2) panels: two (2) feet high, a minimum of five (5) foot long, and a maximum weight of forty (40) pounds per panel. Quantity of four (4) panels: four (4) feet high, a minimum of five (5) feet long, and a maximum weight of seventy (70) pounds per panel
