Specifications

Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Consultant shall perform consultation, research, professional and technical servicesrequired to design an Integrated Corridor Management (ICM) System for Orange CountyTriangle ICM Projects (Project), on an as-needed basis to support the Department ofTransportation (Caltrans), District 12. The Caltrans Contract Manager shall assign specificwork to the Consultant to augment the Caltrans work force through the issuance of TaskOrders describing in detail the services to be performed. The Consultant shall only performwork that is assigned in an authorized Task Order. This Contract does not guarantee that aTask Order shall be issued. The Consultant may provide services to Caltrans including, butnot limited to, performing corridors study within the Triangle area, exploring how varioustransportation components, such as freeways, city streets, cars, buses, trucks, rails, etc. can bemanaged cohesively to achieve a more efficient transportation system, developing a conceptof operations and Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) among all involvedstakeholders, and conducting a system evaluation for the Project as part of projectdevelopment work for a project report (PR) and design work for Plans, Specifications, andEstimates (PS&E), support to the Office Engineers during project Advertisement and Award;project history files, and design support during the construction phase
