Specifications include, but are not limited to:Middle Georgia State University (MGA) currently has a print management services contract forapproximately 104 printers located across five campus locations in student labs andfaculty/staff offices. MGA is looking for one supplier who will meet the growing printing needsof the University.MGA is seeking bid responses that will further enhance productivity and reliability as well asreduce the environmental footprint by reducing paper usage. Further, such program will allowMGA to better manage the print infrastructure, making it easier to monitor and improve costperformance and improve functionality of document generation and use.1. Service must be performed in a manner consistent with accepted industry standardsand is to be defined as preventive maintenance, parts and all other services required tokeep the printer fully operational and maintained in good working order.2. MGA may prioritize service calls. Otherwise, service calls will be performedchronologically. The awarded Supplier must maintain complete service records detailingthe device serviced, response time, time needed to affect the repair and the problemdiagnosed. The successful supplier will make every effort to respond to emergency callson short notice.3. Supplier must provide service during MGAs normal Operating ours as stated on MGAwebsite are subject to change.4. The Supplier/Services technician must present a professional appearance and passbackground checks. The Services technician that will regularly service MGAs Eastmancampus must meet the additional security requirements regulated by FAA.5. The successful supplier will have experienced technicians on staff and will not rotatetechnicians assigned to this contract on a regular basis. MGA understands staff turnoverbut would like to see continuity of service by establishing relationships between thetechnicians and our IT staff.6. The suppliers service technician in addition to providing equipment maintenanceperforms a public relation role on behalf of both the supplier as well as MGA. MGAreserves the right to request the replacement of any technician who does notsatisfactorily discharge this responsibility.
