Specifications include, but are not limited to: This project serves to implement a public awareness campaign on pregnancy-related depression (PRD) for the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE). As part of its Title V Maternal and Child Health (MCH) 2016-2020 Block Grant, CDPHEs overarching goal is to reduce stigma associated with maternal mental health (with a specific focus on PRD) throughout Colorado to increase the number of women identified with PRD who seek treatment. The goal of this project is three-fold: 1) To improve awareness and knowledge of PRD among pregnant and postpartum women and their informal support networks (e.g. family members, spouses, friends, or neighbors) 2) To improve pregnant and postpartum womens perceptions and attitudes toward help-seeking for PRD, and 3) To document lessons learned to inform future CDPHE efforts in reducing maternal mental health stigma.Develop a comprehensive marketing plan geared toward affected women and their informal support networks, including situation analysis, marketing strategies and tactics to achieve project goals, tracking and monitoring mechanisms, and evaluation.
