Specifications include, but are not limited to:Portable Toilets:Rental of approximately nine (9) single unit portable toilets with service as outlined in the Contract Bid Form section of this IFB. The toilets shall be of fiberglass or polyethylene construction, completely sanitary, capable of being locked from the inside, have a wall-mounted urinal (connected and drains into the waste-holding tank), have adequate toilet paper holders and supply of toilet paper at all times, and shall at all times meet local, state and federal health regulations. Units must be capable of being bolted down to a wooden pull behind trailer. SHA will be responsible for mounting on trailers.Rental of approximately one (1) handicapped unit portable toilet with service as outlined in the Contract Bid Form section of this IFB. In addition to the above requirements for the single unit portable toilets, the handicapped units must be ADA compliant, have single level entry, grab rails, and a wheelchair turning radius.Holding Tanks:Rental of two (2) holding tanks with monthly service as outlined in the Contract Bid Form section of this IFB. Each unit shall have a 250 gallon minimum capacity. Contractor shall supply clean water storage containers, the holding tanks, hoses, pumps, lines and any other necessary equipment/supplies to hook up to the trailers pumping connections to make the inside toilets fully functional. The units shall be connected to the trailers located at the two (2) salt dome locations within Howard County. Bid price will be for the monthly pump out/clean water refills to the holding tanks (this will include all required chemical additives). Contractor shall be responsible for all hook ups and disconnects of the holding tanks as outlined in the Contract Bid Form section of this IFB.All units shall be serviced according to the schedule outlined on the Contract Bid Form. The units holding tank shall be pumped out thoroughly until empty. The entire inside and outside of the unit shall be cleaned free of dirt, mud, graffiti, dust, and all foreign matter. The inside of the unit shall be thoroughly sanitized and deodorized. The Contractor shall supply all toilet paper and paper towels, as well as making repairs to any broken or malfunctioning components. The holding tank shall be chemically deodorized with a biodegradable chemical additive and the serviceman shall maintain a written, posted log on the unit indicating the dates of servicing. Upon completion of servicing the units a service ticket must be signed by the State Highway Administration authorized representative.NOTE: Any unit which cannot be repaired on-site must be exchanged within forty-eight (48) hours by Contractor.Pumper Truck & OperatorPumper truck must be capable of pumping up sewage spills (or other non-toxic, non-flammable liquids) and disposing of raw sewage (liquids) according to all Federal/State/Local Regulations and Guidelines. The pumper truck shall have a minimum 2,000 gallon capacity. Bid price shall include the price for the operator/truck/pumping/disposal bid on a per gallon rate. Expected response time shall be within three (3) hours of notification by SHA Contract Manager (CM).Septic Tank Service:
