Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of this project is to conduct an airport master planning study to update the last master plan, whichwas published in 1999. This project will update the Airport Layout Plan (ALP) to correct obsolete features, showany facilities constructed more recently and not reflected on the current ALP, and incorporate the countys longtermdevelopment plans so the future improvements will be eligible for Federal funding. An FAA compliant AGISsurvey will also be needed.This Master Plan Update will serve as Pierce Countys strategy for development of the airport for the planningperiod and beyond, consistent with its long-term vision. The Master Plan will be a 20-year improvement plan thatwill enable the Airport to be a major provider of transportation services and economic development for PierceCounty and the surrounding region. The Master Plan will provide guidelines for future airport development that willsatisfy aviation demand, be financially feasible, be operationally effective, and address safety, environmental, andcommunity issues.
