Specifications include, but are not limited to:The University of Florida (UF) is seeking proposals from qualified Vendors interested in providing photocopying, related routine finishing, and mailing services for the Department of Pediatrics Pediatric Integrated Care System (Ped-I-Care). On August 1, 2014, pursuant to the passage of House Bill 71072011 (codified in Part IV of Chapter 409, F.S.), which established the Florida Medicaid program as a statewide, integrated managed care program for all covered services, the University of Florida Board of Trustees (UFBOT) and the Florida Department of Health entered into a contractual relationship (MMA Contract) for Ped-I-Care, a UF managed healthcare system for children with special healthcare needs in 51 Florida counties spanning the western, northern, and central parts of Florida, to provide children, enrolled in the Childrens Medical Services (CMS) program and assigned to Ped-I-Care, with a medical home that offers them an array of specialty healthcare and community based services under the Medicaid Managed Medical Assistance (MMA). The Ped-I-Care Medicaid Managed Medical Assistance program currently serves 35,000 members, and has a network of approximately 15,000 providers, including physicians, hospitals, therapists, home health care agencies, durable medical equipment providers, etc. This solicitation is intended to qualify Vendors for inclusion into a qualified Vendor pool. Inclusion into the Vendor pool is not a guarantee of business. The Department of Pediatrics may contact for these services on an as needed basis. The successful Vendor(s) will have the proven ability to fulfill the volume of printed materials and meet all contract deadlines for implementation and future required mailings to members. See Section 1.2 for more information. 1.2 Scope of Work Under the MMA Contract, the Member Services Department of Ped-I-Care is required to print and deliver to each new member a welcome letter, health needs questionnaire, medical release form, privacy notice, identification card, member handbook, provider directory, and envelopes (See Attachment A Sample Member Packet). The printing and fulfillment services should be the most cost effective option. Directories and handbooks in the past, have been bound with staples. Amount of pages per document is as follows: Welcome Letter 1 Page Health Needs Questionnaire 1 Page (2 sided) Medical Release Form 1 Page Privacy Notice 2 Pages (2 sided) Member Handbook 14 Pages (2 sided) Provider Directory Approximately 100-120 Pages (2 sided) Envelopes 2 envelopes
