Specifications include, but are not limited to:In 2007, The Oxford Area Trails Committee, through KZF Design, completed PreliminaryRoute Options and Cost Estimates for a Recreational Trail encircling the perimeter of theCity of Oxford. An excerpt (4 pages total) from the 2007 project is attached.2In 2014, the City of Oxford was awarded a Clean Ohio Trails Fund Grant, which allowed thedesign and construction of Phase I (Black Bridge Connector) to get underway. The 2007KZF Preliminary Plan was used in the Committees selection of a trail segment for the grant.In 2014 The City of Oxford adopted the Bike and Pedestrian Safety Improvement Plan,which includes the general conceptual route of the 2007 Oxford Area Trail Plan as well asconceptual urban spurs. The Plan is attached (1-page map and 1-page Resolution).The City of Oxford intends to further refine the southern half (approximately 5 miles) of the2007 route options as well as update the cost estimates for segments along the route fromBonham Road to the Oxford Community Park. The purpose of the project is to select apreferred route and identify major cost items for fund raising and fund planning purposes.
