Specifications

Specifications include, but are not limited to:The City of Tucson seeks to establish an annual requirements contract for Pharmaceutical and Supply Dispensary Equipment for the Tucson Fire Department (TFD), to be or delivered F. O. B. to various City of Tucson Fire Department locations. It is the Citys intention to purchase these units, however based upon available funding; the City may consider lease to own or financing options to acquire the equipment. The Tucson Fire Department has 22 fire stations, 4 of which are District headquarters for medical supplies. TFD provides Advanced Life Support Services (ALS) to the Tucson Metropolitan area. The department responds to approximately 1,800 ALS calls each year. Tucson Fire Departments pharmaceutical and medical supplies are regulated by the Arizona State Health Department, The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the TFDs Certificate of Necessity (CON).
