Specifications include, but are not limited to:Perform as needed monitoring service for mice, cockroaches, and other pests in School facilities. 2. Perform monthly treatment for mice, cockroaches, and other pests in areas that may require attention, such as, but not limited to, locker rooms, janitorial closets, etc- (Postponed until further notice). 3. Provide on-call emergency service (including special services upon request) during normal business hours. 4. Special Requests - The following pests, such as, but not limited to: ants, birds, bats, snakes, spiders, termites, mosquitoes, bees, fleas and ticks, including other outdoors vertebrates, insects and arachnoids, will bePage 3 of 12 considered special services and requested separately by the Building Operations Supervisor. 5. Structural modifications for pest control are not required by the Contractor; however, the Contractor shall notify the Fac i l i t i es Techn ica l Ass is tan t in writing of any structural, sanitary or procedural modifications as deemed necessary to eliminate pest food, water, harborage and access. 6. The Contractor shall be responsible for maintaining a pest control logbook or file for each facility, to be kept on each premises. The logbook or file should contain a pest control plan (where applicable), a list of pesticides used in each building, service schedule, service report and pest inspection report forms, and signed records for 'time in' and 'time out' of each building. 7. Due to varying occupancy levels at each location, the Contractor shall render all services at such times and on such days as may be requested by the Building Operations Supervisor. Sprays or dusts shall not be permitted to be applied where the immediate area to be treated is occupied by students. 8. Trapping devices and bait boxes shall be placed in locations not accessible to children, pets, wildlife and domestic animals, and be concealed whenever possible out of general view in protected areas, so they are not affected by routine cleaning and other operations. Bait boxes shall be securely locked and anchored at all times, and be EPA approved tamper resistant. During regular service, the Contractor shall be responsible for the proper disposal of all trapped rodents and rodent carcasses. 9. The Contractor shall use the following hierarchy (unless otherwise requested in writing or specified in this document) to minimize potential of exposure; Baits and Gels, Dusts in closed areas (wall voids, etc), Crack and crevice treatments (powders, microencapsulated products, concentrates, aerosols), General sprays or fogs
