Specifications include, but are not limited to: Train 120 Child Welfare Staff including administrators, supervisors, and child welfare workersthrough one two-day session (total of 2 days) in Tulsa, OK and two two-day sessions (total of 4days) in Oklahoma City, OK. Trainings must be completed in full by 2/28/2016. Provide training on how to locate, engage and develop permanent relationships includingadoptive placements for children and youth. Provide training on how to fully engage children and youth in the planning, development, andmaintenance of life-long relationships. Provide training on how to locate important people in the lives of foster children including kinand non-kin to develop life-long relationships. Provide training on how to engage kin and non-kin in children and youths lives through familydriven planning. Provide training on how to assist in developing permanent connections for children and youth infoster care. Provide training on the need to be transparent with children and youth about child welfareprocesses, decisions and work being done in their cases. Provide training on best practices and research that are up to date and relevant to developingpermanent connections with important people in the lives of children and youth in foster care. Provide training to gain an understanding of children and youths immediate need forpermanent connections. Provide training on how to assess safety and how to develop, implement, and maintain safepermanent connections for children and youth in foster care.
