Specifications include, but are not limited to:The City of Port St. Lucie is a young and growing residential community located in southeast Florida on the Treasure Coast between the cities of West Palm Beach and Orlando. The City incorporated in 1961 and is the largest City in the county and region. The City has been one of the fastest growing cities in Florida. The City is approximately 121 square miles with a current population of almost 174,000 full time residents, and over 200,000 during the winter season. The growth is due to several reasons related to the quality of life including access to Interstate 95 and the Florida Turnpike and regional attractions, beautiful beaches nearby and a warm Florida climate. There are various economic and recreational opportunities in the area. The average age is 37, which is a reflection of the family orientation of the City, hence, the motto A City for All Ages. The City has collected performance data by departments for many years. However, the City requires a transparent structure to view data and establish key performance indicators that assists the organization in policy decisions and strategic planning. The City is interested in tools that: Measure the effectiveness and efficiency of services provided Evaluates where maximum benefit could be obtained from the next investment for the City and the Citizens Provide data to assist in more effective policy impact assessments Increase the accuracy of projections for revenue, expenditures or services demand Use social sentiment analysis to determine agency profile in social media and who the influencers are Provide data for adopting more effective management dashboards tailored to the needs of each layer of management Provide data for sounder governance and control Improve services based on insights gained from those being served Improve efficiency through intelligence networks, which can lead to reduced costs
