Specifications include, but are not limited to:The CONTRACTOR shall proceed with snow removal under each of the following circumstances:(a) Four (4) inches of accumulated snow is measurable at a point mutually agreed upon by theCONTRACTOR and OWNER (hereafter referred to as the Town) at or before 7:00 A.M.(b) Four (4) inches of accumulated snow is measurable at the same point at any time after 7:00A.M.(c) The CONTRACTOR is notified the day before that snow removal is needed over half of LotL and/or all of the South Pearl Lot and Lot 34 due to accumulation of snow from severalstorms.Snow shall be removed completely from all areas of each parking lot that are free from parkedcars. Areas free from parked cars shall be defined as all traveled ways as well as all open parkingspaces.A.1.2 The Town is responsible for enforcing no parking regulations. And providing no less than 72hours prior notice to permitted parking to remove their vehicle because snow plowing will betaking place.A.1.3 Snow shall be removed to stockpile areas as indicated on the attached drawings.A.1.4 Snow from Lot 34 may be placed in stockpiles as indicated on the attached Lot 34 snowplowingplan.A.1.5 Under the case described in A.1.1(a), the CONTRACTOR shall remove snow from areasdesignated on the attached drawings by 8:00 A.M. for Lot 34, by 8:30 A.M. for the South PearlLot, and by 2 P.M. on Lot L. The CONTRACTOR shall pay a penalty of $200 for every hour, orpart thereof, if late in meeting this time constraint without written approval of the TownRepresentative.A.1.6 The CONTRACTOR shall clear all pans that cross the driving surface and drainage inlets to allowfor proper drainage.A.1.7 The CONTRACTOR shall provide workmanship consistent with standard practice. EquipmentOperators shall be fully licensed, trained and capable of acceptable workmanship. TheCONTRACTOR shall not damage any existing improvements, including curb and gutter, drainpans, signposts, fire hydrants, utility pedestals, etc
