Specifications include, but are not limited to:The Contractor is required to perform all the preparation necessary for the East and West Parking Lot Repairs at Sportsmans Park. All areas in need of repair have been marked with orange paint. Remove all areas of tree root intrusion and reconstruct the damaged areas in parking lot. Seal coat the complete parking lot, repaint all painted lines including the handicap parking area and reset all parking stops. During the repairs half of the parking lot shall remain open and usable. All work will conform to ADA specifications and conform to current City codes and requirement. The current parking lot layout will remain the same. Sportsmans Park East Parking Lot Repairs: ● Remove all car stops from existing location (any car stops broken shall be replaced by the Contractor) ● Remove existing asphalt (approx. two (2) inch depth) in all areas as marked ● Remove all tree root intrusion as marked in damaged area (marked with orange paint) ● Remove all debris off site and is to be disposed of in appropriate manner ● Install new rock sub base (approx. six (6) inch depth) at areas disturbed by root intrusion ● Install new asphalt at each repair location (level with the existing asphalt) Pavement shall meet the following requirements: All unstable materials such as muck, peat, plastic, clay and marls shall be removed from roadbed area. The areas shall than be backfilled with suitable material, and the subgrade stabilization to a depth of ten (10) inches below the base course to seventy-five (75) pounds per square inch, Florida Bearing Value. The materials to be added for stabilization shall be either high bearing soils, sand clay, ground limerock or any other materials which is suitable (Muck shall not be used). Materials Structure Number Asphalt Thickness Base Thickness Subgrade Thickness Parking Lots and Local Roads 1.89 1 inch 6 inches 8 inches All areas repaired shall be level with existing pavement. ● Seal coat entire parking lot as per specifications provide on Attachment C ● Restripe all parking lines, direction indicators, handicap parking areas and loading zones as per Federal Specification TTP-1952B. ● Reset all parking stops ● All work shall be inspected by Park Staff as required.
