Specifications include, but are not limited to:The Columbus Regional Airport Authority hereafter referred to as the Authority or CRAA, is seeking proposals from all interested and qualified proponents desiring to furnish, install, and maintain a Parking Access and Revenue Control System (PARCS) to control ingress and egress functions for all vehicular traffic, and non-public parking facilities at Port Columbus Airport and Rickenbacker International Airport. It is the intent of the CRAA that this system provide the required controls and administrative services needed to deliver the highest level of service and reliability to both parking customers and the CRAA. In addition to its basic control functions, the PARCS is specifically expected to provide better report capabilities to support the Authoritys revenue control functions and increase the level of reliability in processing credit card transactions. This particular document outlines the business needs and requirements, as identified by the Consulting Firm that CRAA has engaged and CRAA Technology Services, to furnish, install and maintain such system. It is the intent of these specifications to describe system(s) which are currently in production although there may be specific requirements that necessitate modification of the operation or capabilities of these existing systems. The following specifications are the minimum specifications for the Authoritys needs in design and features, quality, and performance. This specification is not intended to be proprietary in any way. The intent of the Authority is to evaluate competitive proposals for equipment manufactured by any firm that meets or exceeds the performance capabilities described and offers a service program available 24 hours a day 7 days a week, including emergency repairs service on site
