Specifications include, but are not limited to:A. Overall Project Management1. Provide on-site management and facilitating communications between the County and thevarious project stakeholders2. Advise the County on matters related to this project3. Other tasks related to the project as directed by the CountyB. Pre-Construction Services1. Review construction documents for constructability, completeness and suitability for bidding2. Review cost estimates and advise the County and A/E on value engineering and/or costreduction opportunities.3. Assist the A/E in establishing the appropriate content in the Project Manual to coordinatewith the Project Manager's responsibilities in the Bidding and Construction Phases.4. Advise the County on the procurement of needed building inspection services. Offerors whoare licensed to provide building inspection services for commercial facilities, to include theperformance of plan reviews and required inspections, should include information in theirproposal regarding their related qualifications & range of services.5. Coordinate regulatory reviews6. Assist the County in developing a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for construction C. Construction Phase Services1. Evaluate/Ensure Compliance with Project Scopea) Report to the A/E and the County when, in the Project Manager's opinion, the workbeing performed or materials being used do not conform to the requirements of theContract Documents or safety requirements are not being followed. If appropriate,recommend suspension of the Work.b) Notify the A/E and County if work begins before required shop drawings, productsubmittals, or samples have been approved by the A/E. Receive and log samples,notify the A/E when they are ready for examination, record the A/E's approval or otheraction and maintain custody of approved samples.c) Submit to the County and the A/E a weekly report summarizing significant activitiesand occurrences at the project site. Include a running record of outstanding, unresolvedissues and a running record discrepancies/ deficiencies.
