Specifications include, but are not limited to:Scope of ServicesThe BRA is seeking a provider to perform corporate training, as part of the BRAs on-going professional development program. Specifically, we are looking to provide our supervisors with essential training and tools that will help them be successful. We are acutely aware of the ever-changing work environment and the challenges faced by our supervisors and for that reason, the BRA has made it a priority to provide them with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively and successfully manage their teams. The BRA encourages every supervisor to seek independent core content training throughout the year, in addition to attending the annual group supervisory training, which focuses on critical skills and relevant topics specific to the BRA. The BRA is searching for a provider that has a program which is interactive and engaging, with relevant content, and where the supervisors walk away with the motivation and confidence to immediately implement and utilize their new skills. As such, the BRA expects to receive an established supervisory training program that can be modified to accommodate the specific needs of the BRA. The trainer must be able to effectively communicate with a diverse group of supervisors, some with little to no supervisory experience, while others have decades of experience; some who are front-line supervisors and others who are senior-level managers. The BRA has approximately 60 supervisors who manage employees in a variety of job functions, such as maintenance workers, skilled labor, administrative, and professional. The BRA typically conducts supervisor training in August each year. In addition to onsite group training, the BRA is interested in providing our supervisors with individual coaching, as needed. The provider must be willing and able to deliver all services at multiple BRA locations throughout Texas (list of locations included in Appendices). Specific topics (although not limited to) that shall be included in the supervisory training: 1. Essential leadership skills 2. Effective methods to transition from coworker to supervisor 3. How to focus on the big picture, not the details, learn to delegate 4. Best management habits every supervisor should know and use 5. Speak, write, and communicate clearly and tactfully 6. Manage deadlines, projects and priorities 7. Improve your organizational skills 8. Creating and sustaining an ethical workplace culture 9. Effectively inspire people to work harder and follow your directives 10. Best techniques to stay motivated and inspire others 11. Best methods to successfully develop and coach great employees 12. Become an effective and creative problem solver
