Specifications

Specifications include, but are not limited to:Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, tools, transportation, and materials necessary to provide as needed corrective maintenance to food service equipment. The successful bid will be awarded to the vendor meeting the following criteria: qualified full time appliance repair technicians who carry CFC Universal Certification; have a minimum of 10 years experience with refrigeration and compressors, steam kettles, dish machines ovens and grills. 1.1Contractor shall provide corrective maintenance on an as needed basis to the food service equipment located in Food Service, Building #112. Equipment may be added or deleted at any given time during the life of the contract. 1.2Contractor shall inspect all electrical components and report any potentially hazardous conditionstotheAgencysR e p r e s e n t a t i v e . 1.3 Contractor shall perform on-call emergency and non-emergency services within 24 hour response time. 1.4 Contractor shall provide to Agency a non-binding written estimate when requested for all jobs over $2,500.00 of job cost for corrective maintenance work prior to action. Actual w o r k s h a l l n o t e x c e e d t h e C o n t r a c t o r s e s t i m a t e o f m a n -hours and materials by more than 1 0 % w i t h o u t t h e A g e n c y s p r i o r w r i t t e n a p p r o v a l . 1.5 Contractor shall have sufficient resources to be able to respond to more than one service call any given time. 1.6 Contractor shall have experience repairing food service equipment in a commercial/hospital setting to include but not limited to Aladdin Cook/Chill food storage systems
