Specifications include, but are not limited to:The City seeks one or more qualified Applicant(s) to provide comprehensive professional Civil EngineeringServices in connection with the development and improvement of the Airport. The services are to be provided onan on-call or as-needed basis. Specific projects are subject to the availability of funding and are, therefore,unknown at this time. The tasks the City has identified as necessary are identified below, however, the Cityreserves the right to change any element of this RFP to address the needs of the CIty.B. Services and Tangible Work ProductsFor each project assigned, required civil engineering services may include, but are not limited to, thefollowing:1. Planning:(a) Prepare design studies, preliminary plans, economic comparisons, feasibility studies, andcost estimates for any proposed projects;(b) Study designs to establish framework and detailed work programs;(c) Collect airport data and facilities inventories;(d) Review facilities requirements and utilities planning;(e) Advise DOA regarding applicable standard codes;(f) Plan, budget, and assist with the preparation of grant applications for FAA funded projects inconnection with Airport Improvement Programs, and/or Pennsylvania Department ofTransportation (PennDOT) funded projects;(g) Render technical advisory and consulting expertise to Aviation on an as-needed basis inconnection with site work
