Specifications include, but are not limited to:Asphalt Repairs Detroit Avenue Center (DAC)-Nursing Instruction 1801 Detroit Avenue Kingman, AZ 86401 Installation of new asphalt and repairs to existing asphalt: The Contractor shall furnish all supervision, technical personnel, labor, materials, tools, equipment and services, including utility and transportation services, and perform and complete all work requested. The Contractor is expected to respond to mobilize and perform emergency asphalt driveway repairs within 72 hours of verbal notification. An emergency would consist of an immediate needs job consisting of less than twenty yards of materials (<20). The Contractor is expected to respond to all other normal job requests within ten (10) working days. If they cannot respond, the second place bidder will be called in to perform said work. The Contractor should warranty and guarantee all work performed under this contract for a period of one (1) year from the date of acceptance. The Contractor agrees that this term shall survive termination of this contract. Compaction requirements and testing frequencies: All density tests shall be conducted at the direction of the College Facilities Manager by qualified technicians in accordance with this Section. The cost of such testing will be borne by the Owner with the provision that after two failing tests in the same location; the Contractor shall be required to submit satisfactory evidence that his compaction efforts meet the Specifications, and additional testing costs will be the Contractor's responsibility. AGGREGATE BASE COURSE STONE: The maximum loose single layer of ABC is 8". Depths greater than 8" should be compacted in two equal thickness layers. The ABC shall be compacted to a density equal to not less than 100% of the maximum dry density as determined by the MAG (Maricopa Association of Governments Uniform Standard Specifications and Details for Public Works Construction, 2016 Revision to the 2015 Edition). and Details/ MINIMUM TESTING REQUIREMENTS:
