Specifications include, but are not limited to:Remove and dispose of the mobile home structure on the property. A demolition permit must be obtained from the County. The Contractor will obtain the demolition permit; however the f e e s f o r t h e d e m o l i t i o n p e r m i t w i l l b e p a i d f o r b y t h e C o u n t y s C o d e C o m p l i a n c e D i v i s i o n ( a n d billed to the property owner). The Contractor will be required to coordinate with the utility providers such as electricity, propane, etc. Any septic system or well will need to be capped. b. No long term impacts to the land shall occur as a result of removal of the mobile home. The Contractor may trim trees to access the items to be removed however, vegetation and soil disturbance shall be minimized during demolition and removal and any disturbance to theland (soil, natural slopes, or vegetation) shall be mitigated to pre-demolition conditions to the greatest extent feasible. Best management practices shall be implemented during demolition. c. Remove and dispose of any other mobile homes that are being stored on the property. It may not be possible to remove these whole, in which case they will need to be destroyed to remove. d. Secure the unfinished residence by boarding all entryways. e. Remove and dispose of all solid waste on the property. Nevada County Code Sec. G-IV 8.1.C.36 defines solid waste as: garbage, refuse, sludge, rubbish, junk vehicles, ashes, or incinerator residue, street refuse, dead animals, demolition waste, construction waste, solid or semi-solid commercial and industrial waste and hazardous waste, including explosives and pathological waste, unclaimed telephone directories, magazines, newspapers and flyers. Propane tanks/containers must be disposed of properly. f. Remove and dispose of inoperable vehicles in excess of three, including recreational vehicles from the property. The property owner is permitted to keep three inoperable vehicles on the land and all operable vehicles. Operable vehicles are defined as those that can be started and moved a least a few feet. The property owner will be given the opportunity to identify which three inoperable vehicles will remain on the land. If the property owner fails to identify the three vehicles prior to 9:00 a.m. the first day of the abatement, the County will determine which three inoperable vehicles will remain. If the property owner is unable to be on-site the first morning of the abatement he is required to provide the list of three vehicles to Code Compliance Division staff prior to the above deadline. If the three inoperable vehicles are in public view the Contractor will be required to move them out of public view. The County will provide the documents required for destruction of vehicles. The Contractor is to provide the County with identification (license plate, VIN or other identifying labels affixed). The contractor will complete the DMV process and the destruction of the vehicles
