Specifications include, but are not limited to:The work requested requires selective demolition at the existing site area of proposed NorthgateTransfer Center and Parking Garage. This demolition includes break up and removal of existingasphalt paving surfaces and materials and any trash, brush or miscellaneous landscape andloose debris located within the boundaries located on project site plan. In addition, concretecurb and gutter and loose reinforced and unreinforced concrete materials located on surfaceshall be broken up and removed from site area. Materials are to be properly loaded andtransported for disposal, recycling and reuse. Any material not appropriate for recycling orreuse shall be properly loaded and transported to an approved and licensed or certified disposalsite. All work shall be contained within the designated property limits and within portion ofproject site area shown on corresponding drawing. Asphaltic or other paving contiguous withadjacent property owners shall be cleanly saw cut in a straight and determined lineapproximately two feet away and parallel with the owners property line to the west perimeter ofproject site. Contractor shall carefully backfill against edge and lightly compact to coverexposed paving edge at 30 degree or less angle. Contractor shall prepare and have anapproved and permitted storm water pollution prevention plan and implement the requirednecessary controls and post all necessary information at the site. Contractor shall ensurematerial or debris does not migrate and/or spill out to sidewalk, driveway or roadway surfaces.Contractor shall have in place proper dust and particulate dispersal and submission controls toreduce and eliminate airborne debris and dust during project activities. The city requestsapplication on the overall demolition area of the site of a calcium chloride dust control materialat completion of demolition and debris removal. Material submittal and approval required priorto application. A 16 ft wide x 12 ft tall painted plywood sign support by wood post and framingshall be furnished and installed in concrete footings with design provided by owner.Site shall be left clean of any exposed asphaltic or concrete debris unless related to extendedfoundation(s) or heavily or deeply imbedded material
