Specifications include, but are not limited to:General Requirements: The City of Hampton is seeking bids from responsible and responsive bidders to provide all labor, equipment and materialsforthemowinganddebrisremo v a l f o r t h e C i t y s C o m m u n i t y D e v e l o p m e n t D e p a r tment, Property Maintenance & Zoning Enforcement Division, on an as needed basis for designated properties within seven (7) calendar days of notification from the department. Specific Requirements: Contractor shall perform services to the highest standards in the lawn care/debris removal industry. The Bidder must provide contact information from three (3) current references. The City will award the contract for Mowing and Debris removal as one contract. The City reserves the right to award to multiple bidders; however, each bidder must be able to complete both Mowing and Debris Removal to be awarded the contract. Mowing: Complete the necessary mowing operations to bring properties that violate Section 24-37 of the City Municipal Code into compliance. The grass/weeds/overgrowth shall be cut by the Contractor to a height of three (3) inches on the entire property. The Contractor will perform trim work around all fences, structures, etc. and edge all paved surfaces. All debris/cut grass generated from mowing operations on the entire property shall be removed including cut grass and debris on walkways and driveways. The Contractor will remove all litter, small branches and other small debris that may impede mowing operations. All debris removed from the site by the Contractor shall be disposed of in a legal manner at the expense of the Contractor. The City will notify the Contractor of the property locations (via email) as often as daily and the Contractor will complete the mowing operations within seven (7) calendar days of notification by the City. The Contractor will submit an invoice via email to the City within 48 hours of completion of job. Most city lot sizes range from .15 acres to .75 acres, on average; however, there may be larger lots with or without existing structures. The City will pay a flat fee to the Contractor of $50 for each lot size up to 10,000 square feet. The bidder must provide any and all equipment necessary to perform all mowing operations. The award will be based on the Bidders response to the price per square foot over 10,000 square feet
