Specifications include, but are not limited to:The intent of this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is to establish a contract for the MOVING/RELOCATION OF DALLAS COUNTY EMPLOYEES OUT OF THE RECORDS BUILDING COMPLEX located at 509, 505, and 501 Main Street, Dallas, Texas. This bid will cover various departments within the buildings that are relocating to 1201 Elm Street on various floors, and to 900 Jackson Street, 3rd floor. Dallas County estimates that approximately 568 employees from the Records Building Complex will be moving to various locations in the Renaissance Tower and Founders Square buildings. This move will include; desks, chairs, bookcases, workstations*, files, and file cabinets of various sizes. General Requirements A.Contractor will be moving property owned by Dallas County. The required services shall include padding as may be required for safe transportation, disassembling and reassembling of property when necessary, pickup and unloading of property at point of origin, unloading and delivery of the property to designated room(s) as may be required, complete installation of case goods and level all furniture per supplied office layouts, removal of all packing and crating materials from the premises, and all other services which are normally included in a complete moving service. B.Contractor shall furnish all necessary supervision, labor, equipment and all other related materials (including but not limited to packing materials, floor and door jamb protection materials, wall and corner protection, labels, furniture padding, dollies, hand trucks, rolling book and equipment carts, and cleaning supplies, equipment and materials) necessary to perform relocation services for Dallas County. C.Vendor is also responsible for the cleanup of any move related trash in any areas affected by the move. D.Vendor will provide a Project Manager to attend a pre-move meeting to be held prior to each move. All move supervisors and/ or Contractors Project Managers are required to be present. E.Dress all Contractor employees must wear shirts imprinted with Contractors company name, uniform pants (full length), socks and shoes. F.Conduct All Contractor employees must conduct themselves in a professional, courteous manner at all times and adhere to all rules pertaining to facility access and use. G.Smoking (including e cigarettes) is not allowed inside any facility involved in the relocation. H.Contractor shall provide supervisors at each site at all times during the move. I.Contractors Project Manager and Move Supervisors shall be equipped with cell phones to keep in close contact with the Dallas County Project Manager and Department Move Coordinators. J. Contractor is responsible for the parking of all company-owned as well as Contractor employees vehicles and one parking access card will be provided. Contractor is responsible for the transportation of all employees to and from all Dallas County facilities
