Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. The Successful Vendor will be readily available to provide technical services for emergency repair, routine maintenance, and minor upgrades to the electrical systems supporting the Water Treatment Plants, Wastewater Treatment Facilities, Wastewater pumping stations and other Public Works Facilities. Salisbury Police Department, Salisbury Fire Department, Neighborhood Services and the City Offices @ the Government Office Building may also utilize the Contract. These services will be provided for a period beginning with the award of the Contract and ending June 30, 2017 (See Section 10: Term of Agreement). B. All Services will be issued utilizing a work order system. A description of Services required will be sent to the Successful Vendor by the Citys area manager. The Vendor will submit a revised scope after site visit, if necessary, and an estimate of time and materials. The Citys area manager, or his/her designee will review, and negotiate if necessary, to ensure a clear and fair scope of Services. When the scope of Services has been approved by both parties, the work order will be executed by the Citys Purchasing Department. Upon completion of the Services, the Services will be reviewed for satisfactory completion and the competed work order will be reviewed for sufficient billing information. The work order will then be reviewed for completeness and documentation of the Services and signed by the Facility Superintendent or his/her designee and processed for payment. C. All work orders for the Wastewater Treatment Plant will be evaluated for risk of sanitary sewer overflow or a potential violation of the NPDES Permit. When the proposed Services increases the risk of such events, then a written contingency plan to mitigate the potential risk will be developed by both parties. Prior to initiating the Services a pre-services meeting will be conducted to review the roles of the each party during the Services and to ensure that all required parts, materials, and emergency equipment are in place prior to start of Services.
