Specifications include, but are not limited to:The Douglas County School District has issued this Invitation to Bid for the purpose and intent ofobtaining bid responses from qualified firms to furnish, deliver and install media center furniture atSweetwater Elementary School. All furniture, deliveries and installations must be in accordance withthe scope of work outlined in the bid package 16-049 entitled Media Center Furniture at SweetwaterElementary School.B. Respondent price shall include all charges for material, transportation, labor and equipment requiredto deliver, unload, assemble, and place new media center furniture in the school.C. The Douglas County School District anticipates purchase order to be issued no later than the week ofJuly 11, 2016 for these items. Please indicate on Respondent Pricing Sheet the anticipated date ofdelivery and installation.D. All packing and shipping materials must be removed from the building and disposed of as part of therequirement. Refuse containers will not be provided by the Douglas County School District. Inaddition, refuse containers owned or rented by the Douglas County School District, or any GeneralContractors, on the job site will not be available for use.E. All respondents must include in the bid package response the specifications and product literature forall items quoted.F. All respondents must include in the bid package response the color chips for all quoted furniture, ifsamples have not been provided to the Douglas County School District within the past year.G. Successful respondents shall provide warranty against unsatisfactory performance for all product soldto the Douglas County School District following installation. Terms of warranty shall be disclosed withthe respondent document.H. All furniture quantities listed in this bid are estimates only. Actual quantities and color selections willbe provided to the awarded respondent with a purchase order.I. Upon award, the Douglas County School District will require that the awarded respondent conduct asite visit prior to actually placing the furniture order. The quantities and product selectionprovided in this bid package are estimates only. Firm measurements will need to be taken toensure proper product selection and ordering. The Douglas County School District will also providethe awarded respondent a detailed outline of furniture placement within the schools media centerprior to furniture delivery.J. Awarded respondent(s) must contact Jana Flanigan, Procurement Manager, to arrange for deliveriesof furniture.
