Specifications include, but are not limited to:. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: McGaw Avenue/Armstrong Avenue Traffic Signal Improvements, CIP 331608. The work to be performed shall include, but not be limited to: Traffic signal installation; traffic signal interconnect installation; striping and pavement marking modifications; sign installation; removal and replacement of concrete sidewalk, slurry seal; utility/pull box adjustments; and other items not mentioned here, but are required by the plans and the Special Provisions. The Engineer's construction cost estimate for the project is above $600,000 (rounded to the nearest ten thousand). CONTRACTORS STATE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS: Class A and Class C-10 for all traffic signal (and/or street lighting) work under this Contract. PROJECT LOCATION AND SCHEDULE: McGaw Avenue between Armstrong Avenue and Gillette, Irvine, California. 60 working days to complete. TIME AND PLACE FOR RECEIVING AND OPENING SEALED BIDS: Sealed bids will be received until April 28, 2016 at 10:00:00 a.m., at which time bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the Irvine Civic Center located at 1 Civic Center Plaza, Irvine, California 92606-5208.
