Specifications include, but are not limited to:The maintenance and oversight of Memphis State Recreation Area provided by the Contractor includes thefollowing:1. Park Groundsa. Mowing of all pre-designated areas of the park (approximately 32 total acres), including the dikeleading to the diversion dam (Beginning on or about April 15th and concluding on or aboutOctober 1st annually). Estimated to be 12 to 15 scheduled efforts, weather dependent, withscheduled mowing about 10 days apart from April 15th June 15th, and every two (2) weeksafter June 15th and through October 1st). The dike should be mowed approximately five (5)times. No mowing is to be done on the designated wildlife area. Describe and provide aschedule for mowing all pre-designated areas of the park.b. Trimming of grass, undesired trees, and weeds around buildings, shorelines, guard posts, maturetrees, signs, fishing access structures, and other locations within the State Recreation Areadesignations boundary. Shorelines tend to be very wet and should be trimmed (when possible)for easy fishing access for area guests.c. Inspection of boundary fences, and the removal of weeds and woody vegetation or debris fromfences. Minor repairs done to fences when needed and the reporting of major repairs needed tothe Commissions staff. 2. Restroomsa. Currently six pit toilet facilities are located on the park property and are to be cleaned andmaintained on a daily basis to include but not limited to; sweeping, mopping, disinfecting,removing trash from Contractor provided receptacles, spraying for wasps, deodorizing andrestocking with supplies.b. Pumping, (at Contractors expense) of designated vault toilets by a certified/licensed agent, withall pumped material hauled from the property and disposed of in a licensed sanitation facility.The Commission is to be notified in advance of the Contractors choice of service provider andreceipts for services shall be submitted with monthly invoice. Subcontractors must be approvedby the Commission. Provide a list of potential subcontractors that will be secured to pump septicand a projected timeline as to when septic is pumped.3. Facility Maintenancea. Daily inspection and scheduled maintenance and repairs to park facilities, landscaping, and roadsto include but not limited to; cleaning of fire pits and waist high grills, picking up and disposing ofsmall limbs and woody debris, weeding of shrub/flower beds, trimming of nuisance vegetationfrom lake shores, filling of holes and eroded areas preventing safety and physical hazards,repairing broken picnic tables, painting of facilities, repairing or replacing damaged park signs.4. Trash Removala. Placement of garbage receptacles and gathering of litter from the grounds, shorelines, andrestrooms, with removal from property and disposal in a licensed landfill, (all at Contractorsexpense). Contractor shall provide a minimum of six (6), two (2) yard capacity dumpsters atdesignated collection points and scheduling for a minimum of once a week collection during themonths of May through September, and provide a minimum of three (3), two (2) yard capacitydumpsters at designated collection points and scheduling for a minimum of monthly collectionduring the remaining contracted months. Service can be done by Contractor or by asubcontractor(s), but disposal must be at a State of Nebraska approved, licensed landfill.Subcontractors must be approved by the Commission. Provide a list of potential subcontractorsthat will be secured to haul trash and a projected timeline as to when the trash will be picked up.
