The SC Department of Employment & Workforce (DEW) intends to contract with Mainline Information Services as a sole source to provide approximately 480 hours of Mainframe Technical Support Services for its IBM mainframe computer. The work requires extensive experience in mainframe Unemployment Insurance (UI) and Tax benefit applications, installation, and maintenance of the middleware on the mainframe such as database management systems including DB2 and CICS, online transaction processing systems, and Web servers. Services provided include planning hardware and software system upgrades, changes in configuration, automating operations, capacity planning, running installation jobs and scripts, performing installation-specific customization tasks, system-wide performance tuning to meet required levels of service, and using debugging tools and resolving problems with system software.No additional specifications were given.
