Specifications

Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. All SWMBs shall be provided with routine maintenance for an estimated quantity of one time per year: late spring/early summer or late fall/early winter. SWM Basins and cycle start times are to be solely determined by VDOT. VDOT reserves the right to identify the maintenance time periods.2. Grass shall not be cut less than four (4) inches in height.3. Weed Trees and brush shall be removed and stumps cut flush with the surrounding grade. A chemical stump treatment shall be applied within 2 hours of cutting and in accordance with the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Affairs (VDACS) regulations
