Specifications include, but are not limited to:Provide all labor, materials, and equipment, to perform ADA Improvements to UNC Charlotte Parking Lot # 13 asspecified herein. Products and methods described within this specification must be adhered to throughout theperformance of the project. Payment of work shall be subject to the inspection and approval of the projectcoordinator named within this document. Drawings and bid specifications, Attachments F and G are a vitalcomponent of this Invitation for Bid. Vendor shall review these documents thoroughly prior to the optional pre-bidmeeting. All workmanship and materials shall be first class. All materials and work associated with this projectshall meet or exceed all federal, state, and local codes, and be in full compliance with the State of North CarolinaDepartment of Insurance and the North Carolina State Construction Office regulations. Vendor shall ensure thatall work is conducted in full compliance with OSHA safety standards. Additionally, only approved commercial toolsand materials may be used throughout the project. The contractor shall ensure that all necessary precautions aretaken to designate and isolate the area by installing the proper signage, barricades, and other related safetyequipment to secure the safety of students, faculty, staff, and the general public as well as contractorsemployees. Work shall be conducted in a professional courteous manner. Contractor shall comply with UNCCharlotte policies concerning Sexual Harassment. Any of the contractors employees failing to exhibit professionalbehavior shall be asked to leave immediately. Such activity could result in the termination of the contract.Contractor shall ensure that his/or her employees always arrive to the University in proper uniform identifying their Bid Number: 66-160169 DP Vendor: ____________________________________________ Ver: 7/1/15 Page 9 of 20employee and the company name, preferably wearing a picture identification card as well.
